BIOGRAPHY

Growing up, Tavien Bush had a lifelong passion for painting and the arts. He eventually won the Sidewalk Chalk Festival, moved on to Pedmount College to pursue a degree in fine arts, but was forced to leave because of financial and familial difficulties. He later went on to become a tattoo artist. Ballpoint pens are often used by Bush to produce his intriguing drawings. By fusing realism with pops of color, pop cultural allusions, and icons, he creates a novel viewpoint on both modern and historical fine art. In Tavien's work, the fields of illustration, animation, and art are all represented.
